For the entire month of September, we have had special services each Sunday and Wednesday. We have believed that this month would be our breakthrough month. Never did we know what a awesome month it would turn out to be. Many of our families showed up for each service. We placed prayer requests on the altar and others prayed for the needs. As Job prayed for his friends, God turned his captivity. We stood on that verse during a week of prayer and fasting. Many continued their fast into the second week. During the month, we had the church family come up and take several prayer requests and pray for them by name. God honored this and we are now seeing the results. Below is the prophecy that God gave us for the month and the remaining months of this year. So we followed His instructions for the month of September and watched and now  the testimonies keep rolling in.

We were overwhelmed with how fast God began to answer our prayers. People were healed, others received unexpected money and the church received a $50,000 offering. But more important that all these, God started moving on the hearts of our church family. New attitudes have begun to form. There is a giving spirit that has been loosed over our church like never before. There’s a new anointing, more people attending and our offerings have risen back to where they were prior to the financial meltdown across our nation.

The prophecy given by Pastor Myers at the beginning of September 2009

“This is the beginning of the shaking, the “turn-around” of the church, a rising to new spiritual levels and some rough times for those who don’t stay close to God. This is a time that we will both cherish and fear. We will know God like we never knew Him before and He will purify His church for His glory. It will be an awesome time with great anointing flowing. We will say; ‘we have never seen anything like this before.’ The church will begin to take its rightful place here on earth. Many will come to hear the Word of the Lord.  New Life, as well as other churches that are in His flow, will be overrun by people seeking a place of safety and security. New Life will be a refuge for the lost. They will find Christ and become actively involved in the work of the ministry. We will lose some who are with us now, but the numbers that will come will overshadow the numbers of those that leave. Some will make decisions that will cost them a personal revival. Some will leave, not attend and/or miss this outpouring by just hours, days or weeks. They will regret it the rest of their lives.  Some others will fall by the wayside because they will not be willing to pay the price.  The price of revival, true revival doesn’t come cheap! But the remnant that remains will be empowered like never before. It will be a much larger remnant that we have now. It will be in the thousands! It will be a great awaking for the church and its mission here on earth. It will be the beginning of the end…and it will start the process of bringing the end times prophecies to pass. It is a time that the Lord will speak profoundly to His church.”
